The Chicago Sky had a difficult Friday night.

They lost 83-81 to the Washington Mystics (who were 1-12 prior to Friday), and it was one of their poorest performances of the season.

Chicago lacked coherence on the floor, and any positive moments were overshadowed by mind-boggling mistakes.

Angel Reese performed admirably in the loss. However, except from Reese’s partner Chennedy Carter, no one else contributed significantly to the victory.

Teresa Weatherspoon, Sky’s head coach, was very emotional in the aftermath.

Weatherspoon became enraged during her postgame news conference, storming out after only four minutes of questions.

While Weatherspoon was already irritated in general after the loss, she was particularly put off by a reporter.

“New day. Another day to improve, another chance to play the game we love. “Geaux, Sky!” Reese wrote in an X post.
