With less than two weeks till Wimbledon, Novak Djokovic has returned to the practice court following his recent meniscus surgery.
The 24-time Grand Slam champion posted a video on Instagram of himself stretching on grass before serving on a hardcourt.
Craig Shapiro, a veteran tennis writer, wrote on social media on Wednesday that Djokovic is “pushing hard to play Wimbledon,” which begins on July 1.

It should also be noted that it’s on a HARD court, which is what he usually practices on before playing on the grass in London 👀

Djokovic will compete in the Paris Olympics, which begin on July 27.
“I’m going to do my best to be healthy and fit so I can return to the court as soon as possible,” the 37-year-old Serb tweeted following his surgery on June 6. “My love for this sport is strong and the desire to compete at the highest level is what keeps me going.”
Djokovic won three of the four majors in 2023, losing the Wimbledon final to Carlos Alcaraz. He has yet to win an event this year and lost his top ranking to Italy’s Jannik Sinner.
