Pete Rose has decided not to attend a Phillies game due to his legal difficulties.
The Philadelphia Phillies announced on Wednesday that Pete Rose will not attend the team’s Alumni Weekend events from August 10 to 13. The remark came only two days after an unidentified woman stated in a deposition that she and Rose had a sexual relationship when she was fifteen. According to a statement released by the Phillies, Rose is “concerned that other matters will overshadow the goodwill associated with” the festivities.
