Are any Western Conference playoff teams interested in picking Bronny James?

There are still differing perspectives on where — or whether — Bronny James will be taken in the 2024 NBA Draft, but at least one Western Conference team other than the Los Angeles Lakers is allegedly interested in the 19-year-old.
NBA analyst Marc Stein stated on Saturday that the Dallas Mavericks “would have interest” in picking Bronny if he were available at No. 58. The Mavericks presently have only one pick, the 58th overall, and the final pick in the draft.
Stein believes it is “extremely unlikely” that Dallas will wind up with James. One of the reasons for this is that most NBA observers feel Bronny will not fall below No. 55, where the Lakers are expected to place their second pick. Los Angeles also owns selection No. 17 in the first round.
James has worked out for the Lakers and the Phoenix Suns, and his agent, Rich Paul, has hinted that the former USC guard may not make any more visits to teams. However, this is not the first time we’ve heard that the Mavericks may be interested in Bronny.
once the Mavericks are actually interested in Bronny, it could indicate that they want to pursue LeBron James once he becomes a free agency. LeBron is unlikely to depart the Lakers, but several clubs around the league may believe that picking Bronny would allow them to sign the elder James.
