Four time Brickyard 400 winner. Jimmie Johnson’s daughters, Genevieve and Lydia, created the colourful livery that will debut on the IMS oval.

Jimmie Johnson’s daughters designed the livery for his No. 84 Carvana Toyota Camry, which he will drive in the Brickyard 400 presented by PPG on Sunday, July 21 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Genevieve (13) and Lydia (11) Johnson poured their heart and soul into designing the paint scheme for their favourite driver, who has won the Brickyard 400 four times. The livery incorporates Jimmie’s favourite items, amusing eccentricities, and pieces that have significant meaning for their family.

“It was a lot of trial and error, but we are so excited to see our designs at the race,” Genevieve and Lydia Johnson explained. “We had a lot of fun combining colours and designs that reminded us of Dad’s racing days and some of our favourite memories with him. We hope everyone enjoys it as much as we did creating it!”

The No. 84 Carvana Toyota Camry XSE boasts a creative blend of colours and patterns that depict Johnson’s personal life and exciting racing career, as brought to life by his daughters’ artistic vision. The car is decorated with pink, turquoise, yellow, and purple doodles, as well as images of the family’s spirited Jack Russell Terrier, “Charlie Meatball,” and references how the girls wish their father luck before each race, telling him to “drive over the moon” – their way of telling Johnson he will be the fastest car.

“Seeing my daughters take such an active role in designing the paint scheme for my car has been an incredibly special experience,” stated Jimmie Johnson. “Their artistry and vision have added a unique and personal touch to the racecourse, and they will continue to inspire me lap after lap. It’s a unique event that I’m thrilled to share with the fans, especially as we celebrate Father’s Day.”

Tickets for the whole Brickyard Weekend at IMS, July 19-21, are available here. The Brickyard 400 presented by PPG and the Pennzoil 250 presented by Advance Auto Parts for the NASCAR Xfinity Series return to the 2.5-mile oval.
