IndyCar has signed a multi-year broadcast rights agreement with Fox Sports beginning in 2025.

All races next season will be broadcast on Fox’s main channel, delivering unparalleled visibility for the open-wheel sport. Fox Deportes will broadcast the series’ Spanish-language coverage.

With qualification for the Indianapolis 500 included on the main channel, Fox will show 19 IndyCar events, making it the only motorsports series with exclusive broadcast coverage in the United States.

“This represents unrivalled exposure and provides an unparalleled growth opportunity for the most competitive and entertaining motorsport on the planet,” said IndyCar CEO Mark Miles. “Fox Sports is a fully committed partner, ready to bring engaging and technically innovative coverage to millions of fans across the country while also promoting IndyCar thoroughly across all its platforms.”

All practice and qualifying sessions will be aired on both FS1 and FS2, with the bulk of Indy NXT races shown on FS1.

The series has also finalised its 2025 programme, which contains no significant alterations from this year’s calendar. Gateway moves earlier in the season, to June 15th, and Laguna Seca to July 27th.

This contract marks a significant departure for IndyCar, which has enjoyed a long and profitable association with NBC.

Fox’s commitment to Nascar will be reduced next season, with the Coca-Cola 600 going to Prime Video as part of the stock car racing series’ new media rights deal.

Notably, that event takes place on the same day as the Indianapolis 500, which Fox now holds exclusive rights to alongside the Daytona 500 – an amazing combination.
