Jagger Jones will raise awareness for foster care by driving the No. 33 Adriel-branded car for HMD Motorsports in the INDY NXT by Firestone Grand Prix event on July 5-7 at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course.

Adriel has a long history of helping children in need. Adriel was founded in 1896 as the Mennonite Children’s Home, and its aim has always been to help children who do not have a safe or healthy home environment. Adriel accepts children from risky situations, places them in foster care, and helps them succeed. Adriel offers foster care, counseling, and independent living services for children, as well as kinship and adoption home study services for families and family preservation programs to help families stay together.

“I am thrilled to embark on this partnership with Jagger Jones,” Adriel President Todd Hanes remarked. “His persistent support for foster care and adoption is extremely encouraging. Jagger, a professional athlete and college graduate, exemplifies the spirit of endurance and achievement, serving as a light of hope for children and young adults worldwide. We will work diligently to increase awareness and recruit foster families, ensuring that every kid has the safe and loving home they deserve.”

Jones, the grandson of 1963 Indianapolis 500 champion Parnelli Jones, will make his debut INDY NXT start this season. He also competes full-time in the IMSA VP Challenge, winning all four races he’s entered.

This will be his second season with INDY NXT. In 2023, he contested in 13 races as a series rookie for Cape Motorsports, finishing second in Race 1 at Detroit.

Jones, a 2023 High Point University graduate, was named USF2000 Rookie of the Year in 2022 after winning one race and finishing fifth.

“I am pleased to be partnering with Adriel Foster Care to help promote their campaign of finding new foster parents,” Jones stated. “INDY NXT is a stepping stone to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, and I’m thrilled to be back with HMD Motorsports, a championship-winning team. I’ve had a lot of success in sports car racing this year, and I’m hoping to carry that momentum to Mid-Ohio.”
