Tottenham are hoping to move a handful of players this summer.

Spurs have plenty of deadwood in their team, and Ryan Sessegnon appears to be on his way out.

The £25 million man’s contract expires this summer, and following a long line of injury problems, his time at Tottenham appears to be over.

His contract is not anticipated to be renewed, therefore Sessegnon will be available this summer.

According to The Athletic, a return to Fulham is on the cards.

Fulham contemplated signing Ryan Sessegnon.

According to The Athletic, Fulham have begun preliminary talks about re-signing Ryan Sessegnon.

Of course, Sessegnon came up through Fulham’s academy and was the club’s crown gem for a while.

The England U21 international won every single individual accolade in the Championship during the 2017/18 season, when Fulham were promoted under Slavisa Jokanovic.

Sessegnon remains a fan favourite at Craven Cottage, and he may now have the opportunity to return home.

However, Fulham has some misgivings about this agreement.

Fulham are not convinced about Ryan Sessegnon.

Fulham are aware of Sessegnon’s potential and ability on his best days, but they, too, have misgivings about this trade.

Fulham are unsure about Sessegnon due to his fitness issues over the last few years, which might spoil any potential deal.

Sessegnon’s hamstrings continue to let him down, and once they do, it’s difficult to stop them.

As much as it would be nice to see Sessegnon back in a Fulham shirt, there is no room for sentiment in football, and if he isn’t going to contribute to the group in a meaningful sense, he’s not worth signing.

Before deciding whether or not to sign Sessegnon, Fulham must consider a number of factors.
