Eddie Nketiah finally ready to depart Arsenal with Fulham and Palace leading the race
If the new allegations regarding Eddie Nketiah are accurate, it’s surely something to look forward to for the Gooners. Eddie Nketiah, a Hale End graduate, is to boost Mikel Arteta’s transfer budget due to his likely exit from Arsenal.

Fulham, is apparently prepared to pay out £30 million to buy Eddie Nketiah for Marco Silva’s vision at Craven Cottage this summer, according to the Sun,. However, the Silva-led squad must act swiftly to consummate this agreement, given the competition for Nketiah’s talents. Apparently, they’re anticipated to encounter some difficult competition from opponents like Crystal Palace and Wolves. It’s kind of weird how the story implies that Arsenal doesn’t necessarily have to trade Nketiah, but they’re still open to him departing this summer as they get ready to sign Benjamin Sesko.

It would’ve been a beautiful narrative if Nketiah had made it to Arsenal, but regrettably, he didn’t quite manage to capture the striker position for himself. Despite having his fair share of chances, in 27 league games this season, he tallied a meagre five goals.

Arsenal is continuously being reported of bringing in a new striker, perhaps Benjamin Sesko, as rumours claim he will push Havertz for the No. 9 spot. If Nketiah was to continue around, his opportunities to play would have been even more limited, but his leaving would be fantastic for him.

At 25, he deserves the chance to play frequently instead of waiting on the bench. Furthermore, Arsenal might potentially benefit financially by generating up to £30 million. At £30 million, Arsenal should have no issue letting go of their No. 14. They’ll make a tidy profit from his transfer fee and save £100k a week in salary.
