Alabama’s men’s basketball team will travel to North Dakota for a non-conference matchup in December.

Alabama’s men’s basketball team will play a non-conference road game in North Dakota this season, the school announced Thursday afternoon.

The Betty Englestad Sioux Centre, North Dakota’s home rink, will host the December 18 game. The Fighting Hawks committed to play games in Tuscaloosa’s Coleman Coliseum in 2025-26 and 2027-28.

North Dakota’s arena is around 90 miles from Devil’s Lake, North Dakota, the hometown of Alabama player Grant Nelson. After playing his first three seasons at North Dakota State, Nelson transferred to the Tide last summer and will return for his fifth and final year of college.
