Fulham and Nottingham Forest might soon have another chance to capture Morato from Benfica.

Following a sustained pursuit of the defender by Premier League clubs this season, the Portuguese media now believes that the Eagles are willing to negotiate him.

Fulham and Nottingham Forest set to have new chance to sign player – Club now open to negotiating

According to Jornal de Notícias, Morato’s future is ‘uncertain’ as Benfica is open to negotiating bids.

During the season, Fulham offered €25 million for the signing, but Nottingham Forest made an even greater bid of €30 million.
It remains to be seen how much will be required to persuade Benfica to let him go in the summer. They do not currently have any fresh offers on the table.

Morato is initially a centre-back, but spent the majority of the season playing as a left-back due to the Eagles’ need for a player in that role.

Fulham and Nottingham Forest were already familiar with his adaptability because he had previously played there. We should soon find out if they are still interested.
