Every Blue Jays affiliate won a game on Sunday.

The Buffalo Bisons, New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Vancouver Canadians, and Dunedin Blue Jays all won for the first time in a long time, while the FCL Blue Jays did not play.

Let’s look at the newest Minor League Report!

Buffalo won the series finale, 8-3.

With the 8-3 victory over the St. Paul Saints, the Buffalo Bisons improved to 27-24, good for fourth in the International League East division.

Addison Barger homered for the sixth time this season, bringing in three runs with a single swing in the bottom of the third.

Riley Tirotta and Spencer Horwitz each hit a double, with the latter’s 17th double tying for the most in the International League. Steward Berroa also scored his first triple of the season, which is unexpected given his speed. All three players had two hits, as did Nathan Lukes. Rafael Lantigua, Leo Jimenez, and Cam Eden each had one single.

In his second rehab appearance, Yariel Rodríguez started and finished with 1.2 innings, 2 hits, 0 runs, 2 walks, and 1 strikeout. Beau Sulser, the first pitcher out of the bullpen, allowed two earned runs while striking out three in 2.1 innings. Mike Mayers pitched a perfect inning, striking out two batters, and Hayden Juenger pitched a shutout inning with one hit allowed.

Joel Kuhnel continued to pitch well in a Bisons uniform, allowing three hits in an inning and a third while allowing no runs, bringing his season ERA to 1.04. Mason Fluharty pitched an inning and a third, giving up a run and a walk while striking out one batter.

New Hampshire won in a landslide.

The New Hampshire Fisher Cats won 13-1 over the Somerset Patriots in a run-filled game to improve to 20-25 on the season. Despite the score, the Patriots took the lead in the top of the third before the Fisher Cats scored five runs in the following half inning.

The squad concluded with three home runs on the day, two of which came from Alex De Jesus, the prospect acquired in the Mitch White trade. De Jesus’ season has started slowly, with a.230/.314/.360 batting line in his first trip into Double-A, but this is a positive indication.

Rainer Nuñez smashed another home run, his third of the season. De Jesus and Nuñez each got two extra-base hits, but Alan Roden and Gabriel Martinez each had one. De Jesus, Roden, Nuñez, and Devonte Brown each had multiple hit games.

Adam Macko got the start for New Hampshire, and it was another strong performance for the 23-year-old, who finished with 6 IP, 4 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, and 9 K to bring his ERA to 3.68. Alejandro Melean threw a clean inning with one strikeout, while Adrián Hernández walked one and struck out another. Ryan Boyer struck out two in a spotless inning of work.

Vancouver divided the series.

The Vancouver Canadians were on a six-game losing streak, but with Sunday’s 5-1 victory, they have now won three consecutive, improving their season record to 19-22.

Unfortunately, no home runs were hit by the Canadians in this game, but Jeffrey Wehler and Ryan McCarty both hit doubles, with the latter recording his eighth of the season. Wehler was one of two players with multiple hits, the other being Jackson Hornung, who had two singles. Other players who had hits included Nick Goodwin and Glenn Santiago.

Lazaro Estrada had a strong bounce-back game, finishing with 5 IP, 3 H, 0 ER, 1 BB, and 3 K to bring his season ERA with the Canadians at 3.45. Carson Pierce earned the win, striking out one batter while allowing one earned run and two walks in one and a third innings. Grayson Thurman pitched 0.2 innings, allowing one hit and one walk.

Justin Kelly recorded a hold with a strikeout in a clean inning, while Alex Amalfi struck out one batter and allowed two hits in a scoreless ninth inning.

Dunedin has won three in a row.

The Dunedin Blue Jays, like the Vancouver Canadians, are on a three-game winning streak after defeating the Bradenton Marauders 8-7 despite nearly blowing a lead.

Tucker Toman hit his fourth home run of the season, a positive sign for a player who has battled in Single-A. Toman has had a stronger season than previous, and he is cutting.234/.319/.369, one home run shy of equaling his total from previous season.

Gage Stanifer had his strongest start of the season, going 5 innings, 3 hits, 1 ER, 1 walk, and 7 strikeouts while allowing a home run. Stanifer has allowed two earned runs in his previous 12 innings and struck out 16 batters. Kai Peterson pitched two innings, striking out four and allowing two walks.

Jordan Powell had a poor outing, allowing five earned runs in an inning while striking out the side and walking two. Felipe Bello allowed an earned run but recorded his first save of the season in an inning pitched.
