The latest Tiger Woods speculation generates a frenzy among golf lovers.

A number of golf enthusiasts are persuaded that PGA Tour legend Tiger Woods will compete in the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village.

Tiger Woods could be back in actio sooner than we expected.

The hall of famer expressed his aim to play at least once a month by the end of 2023, following a successful subtalar fusion surgery on his gammy right ankle.

His detractors have stated that his desires are overly lofty.

Indeed, his performances at the 2024 Masters and PGA tournament have led some golf fans, analysts, and pundits to believe Woods is done and will never compete for a major tournament again.

Woods has refused to give up, claiming that despite missing the cut at Valhalla earlier this month, he can win again if he gets more competitive reps.

In other words, the 15-time major champion needs to play regular Tour events to prepare for the remaining majors.

Woods needs a special invitation from the USGA to compete in next month’s U.S. Open at renowned Pinehurst No. 2.

This will take place from June 13 to 16.

There are a few events that Woods may participate in between then and today.

It appears that Woods has decided to play the Memorial in Muirfield Village.
