Witnessing your first-ever Celtic game at Celtic Park is an unforgettable experience; seeing one on a day like Saturday’s championship victory over St. Mirren is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

One Celtics fan who lives in Germany agrees, saying that he made a self-promise earlier this season.

Although Brendan Rodgers’ team eventually ended eight points ahead of rivals Rangers in the Scottish Premiership 2023–24 season, the difference between the two teams was less noticeable early in the campaign.

This Celtic supporter made a vow at one of the later moments to fly over and celebrate if the green and white half of Glasgow won on the last day.

Of course they did. “I live in Germany currently and when the league was looking grim I promised myself I’d fly over to celebrate if we won,” the traveling supporter wrote on Reddit.

“I did just that, and even though I didn’t have a ticket, my pals managed to get me inside. Most likely the highlight of my life.”

After then, the Reddit user posted this vintage-looking Polaroid picture of Celtic Park during a celebration after winning the title.

Rangers will now be Celtic’s opponent in the Scottish Cup Final 2024, which takes place this Saturday, May 25, at 3 p.m. at Hampden Park.
