Every Buckeyes fan knows they were insulted in the College Football 25 trailer. They were seen being stiff-armed by a Michigan player, Illinois hoisting the Illibuck (a trophy awarded if they beat Ohio State), and Kyle McCord in his Syracuse uniform shortly after. Many smaller colleges had at least one decent moment in this video, but Ohio State just got a one-second clip of Brutus.

Ohio State is expected to be one of the greatest teams next year, so why portray them in such a negative light? According to speculations, a big chunk of the game’s production team graduated from Michigan. Of course, there is no real proof; this is merely a rumor that has spread.

I mean, the game appears to display a lot of Michigan. One of their players appears on the cover, and the trailer depicts them holding the National Championship they scammed their way to. It is a possibility, but it also appears to be somewhat unlikely.

This just demonstrates the disrespect Ohio State receives, but it doesn’t matter. They do not have to be portrayed playing well in a trailer to perform well on the field. That is their main focus for this season. It will be wonderful to play with genuine players for once, though.
