Tosin Adarabioyo, Fulham defender, has reacted to Newcastle United’s current contract announcement.
Trevan Sanusi, 17, has signed a professional contract with Newcastle United.

Sanusi reportedly drew interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Manchester City before joining Newcastle from Birmingham City last season.

“It’s overwhelming and a dream come true to sign my first professional contract after working for it my entire life. I’m incredibly excited to keep pushing and proving to everyone who gave me the deal.

“I remained humble and did not expect it. I continued to work hard until I received the contract, which I now have, but I will not stop working.

“I see a really strong pathway in the Academy and aiming to break into the first team. I believe in myself and strive to perform to the best of my ability, following in the footsteps of others who have done so this season.

“I’d say my best memories this season would be scoring my first goal for the under-21s as well as playing in the UEFA Youth League, winning away at Paris Saint-Germain.”

The winger has swiftly established himself in the Magpies’ under-21 squad and has previously represented England at the under-17 level. Sanusi also responded to his new contract on Instagram, writing: “Professional contract, we keep working.”

Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo responded, saying, “Congratulations bro.” Adarabioyo and Sanusi are represented by WNRS Sports and communicate frequently on social media.

However, Adarabioyo’s remark has inevitably piqued the interest of Newcastle fans. Eddie Howe’s side are favourites to sign the 26-year-old as his contract at Craven Cottage expires, but Manchester United may also be interested.
