Alabama has scheduled a home-and-home men’s basketball series with Purdue.

Alabama and Purdue have scheduled a men’s basketball home-and-home series, with the Tide flying to West Lafayette, Indiana this season, according to CBS Sports and College Hoops Today’s Jon Rothstein on Friday.

This will be Alabama’s first visit to Mackey Arena since December 2010. Purdue will then return to Tuscaloosa in 2025, playing their first game at Coleman Coliseum since December 2009.

Last season, Alabama and Purdue played in Toronto, Canada, as part of the Basketball Hall of Fame tip-off series. Both teams then progressed to the NCAA Final Four.

The Boilermakers will host Alabama next season without two-time player of the year Zach Edey, who has declared for the 2024 NBA draft.

Alabama’s nonconference schedule for the 2017 season is still being finalized. The Tide will host Creighton on December 14 to wrap out a home-and-home series that started last season. It will also face Illinois at Birmingham’s Legacy Arena as part of a neutral-site series that will take Alabama to Chicago’s United Center in 2025.

Alabama has also committed to participate in a Thanksgiving week tournament in Las Vegas with seven other schools, including Houston, for which each will receive $1 million in NIL cash.
