Kenneth Goodwin received an offer from the Alabama Crimson Tide on a recent visit to Tuscaloosa.

Goodwin attends Desert Pines High School in Las Vegas, Nevada, and is part of the 2026 recruiting class. He is currently rated as a four-star recruit by multiple recruiting sources and is one of the top linebackers in his class.

The sophomore grew up a Tide fan, so his offer from Alabama is very important.

“It means everything,” Goodwin told Touchdown Alabama. “I grew up an Alabama fan, so this is the biggest offer for me.”

Kalen DeBoer met with Goodwin during his stay. According to the four-star recruit, the two had a ‘wonderful conversation and talked about a lot’. Goodwin was also impressed with the rest of the new Alabama staff.

“I love the linebacker coaching hires,” Goodwin added.

Goodwin, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 212 pounds, has prior experience rushing from the edge and playing off the ball at linebacker. He can also play sideline to sideline, with excellent backside chase and an obvious strong motor. The Nevada product believes his ability to get after the football while ‘blitzing’ is one of his greatest talents.
