West Ham United will extend their Premier League unbeaten streak to three games when they face Fulham on Sunday, April 14, according to Chris Sutton.

David Moyes’ team picked up three points against Wolves in the league last time out, and while Sutton believes Jarrod Bowen’s absence will be a “big blow,” the BBC Sport analyst reckons the Irons will draw 2-2 to earn a point.

Fulham are winless in their previous three games and were “insipid” in their defeat to Newcastle United on Saturday (6 April), but Sutton believes they will pose an attacking danger at the London Stadium.

In his BBC Sport Premier League predictions (11 April), he stated: “Jarrod Bowen’s injury is a significant setback for West Ham, and their top scorer is likely to miss this game as well as their Europa League fixture with Bayer Leverkusen.

“I expected more from Fulham last week, but they were quite ineffective in their defeat to Newcastle. This has ‘draw’ written all over it, doesn’t it? Let us go for some goals in the game, though.”

Will West Ham United sack David Moyes, or will he be offered a new contract?

West Ham have had a peculiar season under Moyes. Despite impressing domestically and in Europe, supporters are generally dissatisfied with the Scotsman’s style of play.

The Hammers have never been more than a few games away from a sense of dissatisfaction at the London Stadium. While a draw against Fulham would not be a horrible result, it is unlikely to sway many fans back to Moyes’ side.

Most indications are that the Irons manager will extend his contract beyond the conclusion of the season this summer, although there have been reports that he has taken note of fans’ sentiments about him and his defensive first strategy.
It is unclear whether they will play a role in his decision in the summer, but anything less than a point against Marco Silva’s side will raise doubts about his appropriateness in East London once more.

In other West Ham news, a new update has emerged regarding the Hammers’ pursuit of Ivan Toney this summer.
