Jamarrion Gordon visited Alabama football earlier this week and received an offer from the Crimson Tide.

Gordon is a 2026 defensive back from Jackson High School in Alabama. He now has a four-star ranking from several recruiting sites and has received previous offers from Georgia, Oregon, and Tennessee. The sophomore believes his Alabama offer is one he will cherish.

“It means a lot to me that this is one of the best college programs,” Gordon told Touchdown Alabama.

Alabama’s defensive backs coach and co-director Maurice Linguist suggested Gordon during a conversation in his office. The four-star enjoyed what he heard and saw from coach Linguist during his visit.

“I love coach Linguist,” Gordon remarked. “His enthusiasm level was sky-high during practice. The atmosphere was positive surrounding the new staff.”

As a sophomore, the 6-foot-2, 180-pounder excelled at cornerback coverage for the Aggies. His response abilities were also remarkable, as he broke on the football with great speed. The Jackson product has demonstrated versatility in the secondary as well. As a safety, he doesn’t mind going downhill and getting his nose dirty by making heavy hits on ball carriers.
