The Ohio State football team recruits receivers more effectively than any other program in the country. When you consider their talent over the last few years, no one else comes close. The NFL talent they develop allows them to attract more outstanding wide receivers.

One of the top prospects in the country for the 2025 recruiting class is returning to Columbus for a visit. Dakorien Moore is a receiver from Duncanville, Texas. This is his second visit to Ohio State. He is doing this despite having committed to LSU since August. It does not appear that this will continue for much longer.

If you offer Brian Hartline numerous opportunity to close on a recruit, he will succeed. He is too brilliant a recruiter not to do so. Moore is regarded as the country’s second-best prospect, thus signing him would be a significant boost to the Ohio State football program’s 2025 recruiting class.

Moore is 5’11 and weighs 175 pounds, so he isn’t very huge. What distinguishes him is his speed. He can separate better than anyone else in the class. Because of his larger frame, he is able to get open even when he is heavily covered.

Multiple Ohio State football players have tweeted on social media that the deal is almost complete, and Moore will de-commit from LSU to become a Buckeye. He still needs to attend and enjoy what he sees in order to make that decision.

As I always caution when writing about a recruit, Signing Day is still a long way off. Things may change between now and December. NIL has altered significantly in terms of recruit loyalty, therefore nothing is definite until the recruit submits their NLI.
