Stephen Curry has been experiencing a shortage of calls during games. ‘The Chef’ and the Warriors are now ranked 10th in the Western Conference, and their seeding is expected to remain unchanged by the end of the season.

Curry did not receive foul calls in several recent games that would have determined the Warriors’ West playoff seeding. He is a threat from a distance, but despite his efforts, Steph’s free-throw attempts have not been consistent.

According to a recent stat line, Steph has had the fewest free-throw attempts per game of his career. All of these attempts are valid until Curry averages 30 points or more each game. To put it in perspective, the ‘Baby-Faced Assassin’ has averaged 30+ points on several occasions, but some of these runs are simply unfortunate in terms of Steph’s effort in each game.

During his second MVP season, Stephen Curry averaged 4.8 free throw attempts per game while scoring 36.7 points. Curry celebrated a foul call during a recent game against the Houston Rockets after attempting to go between two defenders.

His present phase, in which he averages less than three free shots a game, is causing him great frustration. When Steph finally received a call that he didn’t expect, his expression said it all.

Stephen Curry has struggled the most this season.

Curry has now played more than 70 games this season. He hasn’t played more than 70 games since the 2016-17 season. The Warriors’ era of Steph Curry, Draymond Green, and Klay Thompson is nearing its end. Curry’s performance hasn’t dipped as he continues to dominate. Meanwhile, his splash sibling is struggling from beyond the arc.

Curry has done the most this season, assuming responsibility for the entire squad. Now in the Play-In competition, the Warriors face a difficult path to the playoffs. The Dubs will need to make the most of their lineup heading into the Play-In because they lack big guys.

Kevon Looney, who previously filled the role of a big guy, now has a smaller role on the squad. Last year’s second-round exit was attributed in large part to a lack of size in the paint. The Play-In is due next week.
