Celtics sweep past Blazers for 13th consecutive home win.

Jaylen Brown scored a team-high 26 points, and the Boston Celtics extended their home winning streak to 13 games by defeating the Portland Trail Blazers 124-107 Sunday night.

Brown made 10 of 17 field goals, including three of five three-pointers, in 30 minutes. The Celtics did not play their starters in the fourth quarter.

Payton Pritchard of Boston made 9 of 13 field goals, finishing with 20 points and eight assists. Kristaps Porzingis added 12 points, 10 rebounds, five blocked shots, and three steals for Boston, which was missing top scorer Jayson Tatum (knee injury).

Portland trailed by eight points entering the fourth quarter and didn’t pull any closer in the last 12 minutes. The Celtics led 112-94 after Xavier Tillman banked in a 3-pointer with 4:16 left, and Boston had its greatest lead of the game at 122-103 with 1:07 remaining.

Portland’s Dalano Banton came off the bench to score a game-high 28 points. He also tallied nine assists.

Deandre Ayton contributed 22 points and 14 rebounds for the Trail Blazers, while Jabari Walker added 14 points and 18 rebounds. Portland enjoyed a 53-40 rebounding advantage, but shot 39.2% from the field.

This was Boston’s second win over Portland this season. On March 11, the Celtics won by 121-99 on the road.

Boston led 30-24 in the first quarter and 63-56 at halftime. The Celtics made 24 of 42 field-goal attempts (57.1 percent) in the half, including 9 of 19 from 3-point range. Portland shot just 36.7 percent from the field (22 of 60).

The Celtics led 70-56 after Derrick White sank a basket with 9:59 remaining in the third, but Portland closed to 85-81 with 1:57 left in the quarter. Boston led 93-85 going into the fourth.
