Jrue Holiday’s move to the Boston Celtics was a strange opportunity. However, the Los Angeles native and his family have long supported the Lakers. This resulted in an unusual situation in which his family dressed in purple and gold for his Celtics game against the Lakers.

Holiday mentioned that his family wanted to mess with him because of the Los Angeles Lakers-Boston Celtics rivalry. However, Holiday was not pleased to attend a Celtics game wearing a Lakers jersey.
It’s not often that a player’s family shows up to a game wearing opposing jerseys. Usually, it works the opposite way around. Families typically wear jerseys from the team their kid plays for. Draymond Green’s reaction to the 15-season veteran’s family taunting him in his first year with the Celtics was stunning.
