Real Madrid has been connected with several high-profile players recently. Kylian Mbappe might join the club this summer. In fact, Santiago Bernabeu appears to be his most likely destination, by a significant margin. Alphonso Davies, on the other hand, could be a potential addition to remedy the left-back dilemma, given his uncertain future at Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid should also consider their right-back predicament. Dani Carvajal has recovered his form this season, when it appeared like his career was on the decline.

Carvajal is 32 years old, though. Sooner or later, the club will need to find a replacement for its legend. And it appears that they have one of the game’s best right-backs in their sights.

As Fabrizio Romano tweeted, Real Madrid is keeping an eye on Trent Alexander-Arnold’s contract issue at Liverpool. His current contract expires in June 2025, and there are currently no talks underway. So yet, no information about the player’s opinions has been provided.

Real Madrid is interested in signing Liverpool star Trent Alexander-Arnold, who rose through the club’s youth systems and is regarded as a potential captain. Most fans expect him to stay with the club for the majority, if not all, of his career.

Having said that, most players are drawn to the opportunity to play for Real Madrid. And, given Jude Bellingham’s success at Santiago Bernabeu, many English players may be more willing to consider moving to La Liga, a division in which they have not enjoyed much success in previous years.

Trent may be a fantastic addition for Real Madrid. While there are still questions about his defensive ability, he remains one of the best full-backs in history.
