Former Manchester City player Peter Schmeichel has predicted the score for this weekend’s big game versus Liverpool.

The scenario has been set for Jurgen Klopp’s final Premier League meeting with Pep Guardiola.

Man City has a bad record at Anfield, having not won a league game there since 2003, but they will not be without confidence going into the encounter.

Rodri and Erling Haaland are not used to losing games these days, and the same can be said about Liverpool.

It will be an interesting match to watch, with the title race swinging considerably in either direction with 10 games remaining.

All that being said, Peter Schmeichel has now revealed his score prediction during an appearance on the ‘Planet Premier League’ podcast.

Schmeichel was discussing the outcome of City’s journey to face Liverpool with Nedum Onuoha, another former Citizen.
Despite Schmeichel’s decision to remain neutral on this occasion, Onuoha believed the tide may flip at Anfield.

Peter Schmeichel believes Liverpool and Manchester City will cancel each other out on Sunday.

Speaking on the podcast, Schmeichel predicted that neither City nor Liverpool would do enough to win.

He stated, “That was my [scoring], 2-2 draw honestly.
