The presence of Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis on the field just added to the insanity.
Marinakis shares ownership of Rio Ave and Olympiacos in Greece. He was so disappointed with the team’s performance in 2018, he penalized everyone and sent them on vacation.
He also substituted members of the Under-20 team for them.
He reportedly said, “I and the rest of the fans have tolerated you enough,” according to Greek media. You are supposed to leave today for your vacation.
As much as you admire Olympiacos and their followers, amateur teams stick to the fundamentals.
You don’t care about the team; instead, you value your nice homes and cars.
