ONE IMPORTANT LESSON

The Bruins ultimately went where they have gone much too frequently lately. However, it appears that they are currently set to play games in over

time.

But with the third period encapsulating the Bruins season, it didn’t have to be that way versus the Kraken.

Once more, Boston led in the third period but gave it up. The Bruins had led in the third period but given up the equalizing goal for the third time on their road trip. From the beginning of the last stanza, the Bruins were closing the gap. Seattle was unable to tie the score thanks to the Kraken’s early dominance and the Bruins’ inability to handle the rush.

However, the Bruins also demonstrated their tenacity during the frame, uniting to score in the closing minutes of the game.

The Bruins will undoubtedly be disappointed that they didn’t win more when they return home, even though they managed to salvage at least one point from each of their road games.

STARS OF THE GAME: With two goals, Pastrnak led the Bruins’ offensive attack. 5:53 into the game, he scored on a breakaway to open the score. Later in the second half, he scored once again to end the game. Pastrnak has 38 goals for the season, and he also had an assist on the goal that tied the score in the third period

The Kraken won and received two points thanks to a goal by Kailer Yamamoto in the shootout.

Charlie Coyle gave the Bruins a crucial goal with 2:52 remaining in regulation. In order to tie the game and send Boston into overtime, he tipped in a Pastrnak shot during the power play.

RISKY WATCH

The odds on Pavel Zacha recording an assist were placed at +144 by FanDuel Sportsbook. Pastrnak’s second goal secured this ticket for the bookmakers thanks to Zacha’s assist. A $100 bet would have brought in $244 in total.
