Ian Wright is astounded by the 21-year-old, whom Chelsea is apparently interested in signing. “He’ll be a monster if he joins Chelsea. If I were Guardiola, I would make sure to hijack the deal as soon as possible in order to minimize competition.

Ian Wright said he wished Cole Palmer had joined Arsenal instead of Mikel Arteta. In September of last year, the forward joined Chelsea from Manchester City.

Palmer has only played 29 games since investing £42.5 million, but he has 12 goals and nine assists. He will most likely play for Chelsea against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final this afternoon at Wembley Stadium.

Wright also admitted to being a touch jealous of Chelsea during an interview on his podcast, Wrighty’s House. When asked if he wished his former squad had chased the England international, he responded, “I wish we did.”

Prior to the end of the season, Liverpool’s assistant manager Pep Lijnders praised Palmer as arguably the best discovery of the season. Considering Palmer was a young player and a rival, I believe he is one of the best additions to the Premier League this season, he stated.

Finally, there’s [Conor] Gallagher, who is unquestionably a legitimate No. 10 in the academy and a great leader. He wears the armband. Despite being a 10, he gets his shirt soiled. I

Allowing them to play will make it incredibly difficult to locate skilled players between the lines, such as Palmer and Gallagher. Enzo Fernandez is retreating slightly. Because of their forward pace and ability to exploit our counter-press, we will need to employ every weapon at our disposal to halt them.
