Albion’s youth team defeated Fulham 2-1 at home on Saturday to extend their winning streak to three games.

After just 21 minutes, Leigh Downing’s team, who had already defeated Reading and West Ham United, jumped out to a two-goal lead.

In the seventh minute, Eseosa Sule, who had just scored a hat-trick against the Hammers the previous weekend, took advantage of a careless touch by the goalie to take the ball and tap it into an empty net.

After 14 minutes, Divine Onyemachi completed a skillfully executed corner routine to give Albion a 2-0 lead.

Before the intermission, the visitors attempted to push their way back into the conversation and strike the woodwork.

In the second half, Louis Brady was the Baggies’ hero when he turned away a penalty to keep the score at two goals.

Even though Downing’s team defeated him in extra time, it was only a small comfort for the Londoners as they still managed to secure another strong three points.
