With the way the Baltimore Ravens coaching staff has been poached since the end of their 2023 season, it’s still surprising that they didn’t win the Super Bowl. According to Nick Underhill of New Orleans Football on Monday night, the list of departures will now include Assistant Wide Receivers Coach Keith Williams, who is set to join the New Orleans Saints’ coaching staff as their new wide receivers coach after interviewing last week.
The Saints have hired Keith Williams to be their receivers coach, per source. It is a two-year deal. Williams last served as the assistant receivers coach in Baltimore.

Williams had been with Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh’s staff since the 2021 season, starting as a pass game specialist and progressing to assistant receivers coach last year. Prior to moving to Baltimore, he established himself as one of the top individual position coaches in the league, having worked with and developed some of the league’s best wideouts, including multi-time All-Pros Davante Adams and Tyreek Hill.
In his first year with the Ravens, Williams helped develop former first-round pick Marquise ‘Hollywood’ Brown into the team’s first 1,000-yard receiver since 2016. This past season, he assisted Ravens Wide Receivers Coach Greg Lewis in guiding 2023 first-round pick Zay Flowers to a standout rookie season in which he broke multiple franchise records for first-year pass catchers and finished with 86 catches on 121 targets for 1,014 receiving yards and six touchdowns in 18 games, including playoffs.
Williams will be returning to New Orleans, where he coached wide receivers at Tulane University from 2012 to 2014. He will replace Kodi Burns, who has held the post for the past two seasons and has a 12-year coaching background. He will lead a talented collection of receivers, including emerging sensation Chris Olave, who has over 1,000 receiving yards in each of his first two seasons. Rashid Shaheed and Michael Thomas are among the Pro Bowlers featured.
In other coaching news, former Ravens linebacker Josh Bynes will begin his coaching career in the Pacific Northwest, working alongside one of his former defensive coordinators, Mike Macdonald. According to Aaron Wilson of KPCR in Houston, he will join the Seattle Seahawks as an assistant linebackers coach after interviewing with the Ravens and Los Angeles Chargers for linebacker coaching positions.
