What Joe Crann has said about Sheffield Wednesday’s Dominic Iorfa

So it appears that Wednesday opted not to take the chance with the defense after all.

It was suggested yesterday that the player could play for the under-21s against Barnsley.

However, the Owls changed their plans, and he will appear to be missing when Wednesday face Bristol City this weekend.

Crann announced on X earlier today that a U-turn had been performed on Iorfa ahead of this afternoon’s match.

In our opinion, this appears to be a prudent choice, and evidently, those behind the scenes do not believe Iorfa is quite ready yet.

With Wednesday already within touching distance of safety, the team does not require any additional injury concerns.

Iorfa can play a significant role during the business end of the season.
In our opinion, this is a good piece of news, and Wednesday should not rush the defender back.

Wednesday fans frequently think Iorfa is the fastest man in Yorkshire, and his speed is a strong suit of his.
