Ty Bracey believes Jacob Ramsey, who impressed in the defeat to Manchester United, could start for Aston Villa against Fulham.

Unai Emery faces a couple of dilemmas now that Boubacar Kamara has been declared out for the remainder of the season and Diego Carlos will miss up to four weeks due to injury.

The Villa manager will be aiming for his team to respond to their 2-1 loss to the Red Devils on February 11th, as they attempt to get their campaign back on track at Craven Cottage on Saturday (17 February).

Bracey has revealed that he would like to see Lucas Digne start against the Cottagers after being out for several weeks.

Speaking exclusively to Villa News, Bracey said: “Jacob Ramsey played well against Manchester United, so I wouldn’t be surprised if he starts.

“I’m not sure who will fill the Kamara post, whether it’s John McGinn or Tim Iroegbunam.

“There may be a few of tweaks at most, but it all relies on whether McGinn accepts that viewpoint or not.

“But I don’t expect to see many changes other than for Diego Carlos and Kamara.”

Lucas Digne might push Alex Moreno for the Aston Villa starting place.
When asked if Digne could return to the starting lineup, Bracey replied: “You don’t know who is guaranteed to play at left-back, whether it’s Moreno or Digne now that he’s back.

“But before his injury, Digne was doing well, he’s had a good season so far, so I would love to see him back in the starting lineup.”

Aston Villa’s choices have been depleted
Villa have had a terrible few weeks in terms of results and injuries, with several first-team players unavailable.

With Carlos and Ezri Konsa expected to miss the next few weeks, Pau Torres could return to the starting lineup against Fulham.

Emery will also need to decide how he wants to line up in midfield, since the Villans are now down to the bare bones following Kamara’s injury and Leander Dendoncker’s loan move to Napoli in the January transfer window.
