When asked if the Albanian could expect competition for spots, manager Silva responded, “He knows that.” Broja, who is on loan from Chelsea to Fulham until the end of the season, started on the bench.
“I spoke with him yesterday regarding the circumstances; this is the Premier League.
We have great faith in him; he has a lot of promise. We also looked at him as a player last summer, and he is aware that there will be competition for spots. Prior to the Burnley game, he had only arrived last week.”
Silva thinks the victory was well-deserved. It was the Cottagers’ first win since their victory over Arsenal on New Year’s Eve.
“Overall, considering the game, I believe we were the best team on the field,” the Portuguese player continued. The first half was considerably better for us.”
