After seeing their team’s continuous slide, Chelsea supporters haven’t had much to cheer about in a while.

The decision-makers at Stamford Bridge have faced criticism for their transfer policy after spending £1 billion on young talent and seeing the team regress from the squad that won the Champions League under Thomas Tuchel.

However, Cole Palmer has stood out above the others, as Chelsea midfielder Tom Cairney has stated that Palmer is a “elite” player in the Premier League.

The captain of Fulham told Premier League Productions on December 02, 24 at 7:40 p.m. that he was “very surprised” that Pep Guardiola let the 21-year-old to leave Manchester City for Chelsea because he is a “top, top footballer.”

While Chelsea has been spending up to £100 million on some players, Cole Palmer only cost them £40 million, so they didn’t have to spend as much money on him.

Given that he never stops scoring or setting up goals, that is currently the team’s best move. In the long run, it may also prove to be their best transfer under Todd Boehly.

For a squad that has struggled all of the season, the England international has ten Premier League goals and six assists to his record.

For this reason, Cole Palmer has been Mauricio Pochettino’s greatest player “by a mile,” according to Tom Cairney.

Cole Palmer’s Chelsea performances
Cairney declared, “I believe he is elite.” “I believe he has an excellent football brain. You could only conclude that he lacks the electrifying pace.

He is a really good football player, though, aside from that. Given his history of loving footballers in the past, I was shocked when Pep let him go.

He is able to both create and score goals. In my opinion, he is a skillful build-up player. He is late getting into the box. Given his youth and intelligence, he will only continue to improve.

“Chelsea has found a real gem. He has been without a doubt Chelsea’s finest player.
