Inter Miami players are apparently upbeat following their 25,000-mile global preseason tour, which finished this week.
The Herons traveled to four different countries and played six games on what was a massive trip for the MLS franchise, with Inter Miami winning only one game.
For many, Inter Miami’s pre-season trip has been an embarrassment, with a 6-0 loss to Al-Nassr and controversy in Hong Kong after Lionel Messi did not play during that leg of the tour.
However, according to AS, there is a sense of optimism surrounding Inter Miami and their players, who have now returned to Florida, with the group set to have a week off before their last pre-season game against Newells Old Boys.
With Messi expressing how physically fatigued the group is after traveling across the world, Inter Miami players will be looking forward to their forthcoming rest back home in Florida.
This upgrade could indicate that the Herons are prepared for the new MLS season, which begins in two weeks against Real Salt Lake.
