Luke Littler made it to the World Darts Championship final a month ago. It subsequently provided fresh opportunities for the now-17-year-old wonderkid.

A day after the World Darts Championship, Littler was granted permission to compete in the Premier League Darts, as well as invites to World Series tournaments in Bahrain and Den Bosch.

‘The Nuke’ won the tournament in Bahrain, while Littler lost to Michael van Gerwen in the Dutch Darts Masters final. These two efforts netted him 30,000 pounds in prize money.

Littler also impressed at the Bahrain Darts Masters, scoring nine darts. “It was great to win on my debut (in Bahrain) and to be the youngest person to hit a nine-darter as well. But, basically, it was just match practice for the Premier League, as was Holland,” Littler remarked in an interview with news agency PA.

Meanwhile, Littler made his debut in the Premier League Darts. In the first round of play in Cardiff, the Englishman advanced to the semifinals. ”Now we’re moving on to the Premier League. I know I can beat the greatest. I’m just thrilled with how I’ve been playing,” he said. “The Worlds was a significant step up, but I’ve proven I can play with the best, which is why I’ve gotten a shot in the Premier League.”
