West Ham United suffered a disheartening 3-0 defeat at Manchester United on Sunday afternoon.

The Hammers had more chances and opportunities than their hosts in the first half, but David Moyes’ team fell down after Rasmus Højlund’s well-taken finish.

The Irons’ Tomáš Souček and Ben Johnson had good chances before and after Højlund’s goal, but they were unable to equalize before the interval.

West Ham lacked a clinical edge in front of goal at Old Trafford, and Erik ten Hag’s side punished them. Alejandro Garnacho scored twice, four minutes into the second half and five minutes before the end, while Emerson.
