Liverpool might go eight points clear in the Premier League top later today if Jürgen Klopp’s side defeats Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Mikel Arteta’s club could really use a victory to narrow the current five-point gap.

The Reds were concerned about Uruguayan attacker Darwin Núñez’s probable injury when he left Anfield midweek after the 4-1 win over Chelsea. However, he returned to training on Friday and appears to be playing normally. Andy Robertson and Trent Alexander-Arnold are among the players looking to return to the starting lineup.

Conor Bradley may not be involved following his father’s death at the age of 58, just days after scoring his first Premier League goal. But Liverpool won’t require many changes from the team that defeated Chelsea on Wednesday.
