While no major specifics of this potential transaction have been revealed thus far, a Mundo Deportivo article has confirmed that Mbappe chose to go from the French city to Spain due to the sporting success that Real Madrid provides.
According to many sources, Mbappe’s decision to move is solely for sporting reasons. The athlete has become dissatisfied of his time at PSG and wants to finally realize one of his long-held aspirations, despite Florentino Perez’s multiple failed attempts.
The 25-year-old believes that Real Madrid’s future ambition is more likely to provide him with the sporting success he seeks.
While this will be a free transfer, Real Madrid is likely to pay Mbappe a signing-on bonus of around €60 million.
