Hue Jackson, the former Cleveland Browns head coach, continues to land on his feet.

Following conversations with Morehouse College to become their new head coach, it appears like he may return to the professionals instead.

According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler on Twitter, Jackson has interviewed for a role on the Las Vegas Raiders’ offensive staff.

The position is unidentified, although it would be his return to an organization where he coached an 8-8 season in 2011.

Notably, Jackson is familiar with assistant coach Marvin Lewis, having worked together for five years with the Cincinnati Bengals before being hired in Cleveland.

The 58-year-old coach led the Browns to a 3-36-1 record over two and a half seasons.

He spent the last few years coaching Grambling, going 8-14 until being sacked in November.

The Raiders have hired former Arizona Cardinals head coach Kliff Kingsbury as offensive coordinator.

Kingsbury was renowned as one of the game’s most inventive offensive minds, but he seemed to hit a wall with the Cardinals.

His teams frequently prospered offensively in the first half of the season before collapsing in the latter two months or so.

He’s back in the league after a one-year absence.

This squad is certainly trying to add a lot of experience around Antonio Pierce, who only had interim head coaching experience last year, but he also showed indications of promise and won the trust and respect of his locker room.
