Rio Ferdinand has acknowledged that he was particularly inspired to consider what Jurgen Klopp’s team may accomplish this season after Liverpool defeated Chelsea 4-1 at Anfield last night.

Conor Bradley, 20, stole the show as the Reds easily defeated Mauricio Pochettino’s team to maintain their five-point lead atop the Premier League. Bradley scored once and provided two assists at L4.

Being in excellent form right now, Klopp’s team will fancy their chances of winning a second title under the German mastermind. They also want to keep Manchester City from being crowned champions for a record-breaking four straight seasons.

Ferdinand noted that every player in red is “working at minimum eight out of ten,” indicating his growing belief that Liverpool will challenge the Sky Blues all the way this season.

The former Manchester United defender told TNT Sports (via HITC), “You know what, this team, today, it’s the first time I’ve watched them and thought they could push City.” “They didn’t seem to be playing at their best when I saw them a few times this season, but now every player appears to be giving it their all and performing at a minimum of eight out of ten. It was an incredibly strong performance overall that will only increase confidence in this entire establishment.

Every player gave it their best on the field and fought for the win last night, making it an incredible display from the first whistle.

While Alexis Mac Allister dominated Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez in midfield and Luis Diaz was at his explosive best on the wing, Darwin Nunez was unfortunate not to hit the back of the net, striking the woodwork four times.

Trent Alexander-Arnold, who was brought on in the second half, has returned to full fitness, but right now Bradley is unstoppable because he plays doggedly in defense and poses such a threat up top.

Now that the Northern Irishman has four goals and four assists in his previous four games, there are plenty of reasons to be enthusiastic about the Academy graduate.

We’re playing Arsenal at the Emirates on Sunday, which should be another difficult match. Hopefully, it will be similar to our FA Cup match from last month, when we defeated them 2-0 in north London.
