Kalen DeBoer and the new Alabama coaches are aiming to bring in many in-state 2025 recruits for Alabama football.

In the future, the Crimson Tide may extend offers to a few more players who they will continue to assess. Here are a few of the state’s brightest young players who may be in a position to be recruited by Alabama in the near future.

Eric Winters: Entrepreneur, Athlete
Without a doubt, one of the top prospects for high school football in the nation is Winters. Given his exceptional position versatility, it is shocking that Alabama has not made an offer to this premier talent out of Enterprise High School yet. The junior, who stands 6-foot-2 and weighs 200 pounds, can play on the defensive end of the football field at all three levels. He is a football player, to put it simply. The kind of player you can just line up and watch perform. He can display his entire skill set as a hybrid defensive end and wildcat quarterback for the Wildcats.

As an off-the-ball linebacker with expertise playing off the edge, he takes defensive snaps at safety. Georgia and Auburn are among the numerous universities actively pursuing Winters.

Playing opposite of Cam Coleman, Upshaw had a career season for the Red Devils, finishing his junior year with 1,185 receiving yards and 15 touchdowns. Upshaw, who is 6 feet 175 pounds, has a lot of potential as a wide receiver. At the line of scrimmage, he leaps out of his release, adjusts to the football in the air, and uses a nice vertical leap to grasp it at its highest point. In addition, the junior might run hard after the catch. This weekend, Alabama is supposed to host him.

As one of the best offensive linemen in the state, Smith has offers from Tennessee, Florida State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and other schools. In the future, the 6-foot-6, 300-pound player will be able to play a variety of spots along the offensive line. He is a run blocker who is unrelenting and persistent, and he never gives up until the whistle blows. Although he is still developing as a pass protector, he exhibits the quickness and athleticism that a big man needs to acquire at that position.

Clarence Taylor: Broad Receiver – Delightful Village
Although Taylor’s offer list does not currently seem like some of the others on this list, it might quickly change. The 6-foot-1, explosive player recorded 70 receptions for 1,621 yards and 25 touchdowns as his junior year came to an end. Because of his ability to separate the defense off the line of scrimmage and at the top of routes, he is among the top wide receivers in the 2025 recruiting class when it comes to route running. After the catch, the Pleasant Grove product is even more elusive.

DEFENSIVE LINEMAN MALIK AUTRY-OPELIKA
Autry is a defensive lineman prospect that is committed to the Auburn Tigers and is among the best in the state. The 6-foot-6, 283-pound player can cause havoc seconds after the snap, making him a terrifying opponent in the trenches. In his pursuit of the football, he will chase down plays from the backside, demonstrating his exceptional space skills. He has previously attracted the attention of Alabama, so it wouldn’t shock anyone if the Crimson Tide extended an offer to him soon.

DYLLON WILLIAMS – DEMOPOLIS – DEFENSIVE BACK
Williams will no longer be a hidden gem in the upcoming weeks after receiving his first Power 5 offers from Kentucky UCF. Williams, a 6-foot-2, 180-pound player, helps with run support by searching for the football with excellent closing speed when working downfield from the secondary. He is quite good at making open-field tackles and attacks plays all over the field. He also shows glimpses of being able to follow wide receivers step for step.
