Dan Campbell is aware that the Detroit Lions will need to make some difficult choices this weekend in order to contain the San Francisco 49ers’ offensive power.

With a well-rounded offensive line, the 49ers have stormed to the top of the NFC seeding chart. This week, running back Christian McCaffrey will be facing his club in the conference championship game on Sunday. Defense has been a problem for the Lions at times throughout the regular season, and Campbell stated that if they hope to win the Super Bowl, they must play at their highest level.

Concerned About Christian McCaffrey Are Lions

With a league-high 1,459 yards of rushes and 14 touchdowns, as well as 564 catching yards and seven more touchdowns, McCaffrey, 27, enjoyed a career-best season for the 49ers. In addition, he led the NFL with 21 total touchdowns and 2,023 all-purpose yards.

Although Campbell acknowledged that the 49ers and head coach Kyle Shanahan could find other ways to exploit their defense, his squad will need to concentrate on stopping the All-Pro rushing back.

“Cease your sprint. According to Campbell, via SI.com, “still the run.” “They’ll rush for 250 on you if you don’t stop the run, and then they won’t even care about passing.”

That is where it all has to begin. Indeed, Shanahan excels at manipulating you to overreact by focusing on only one aspect of the situation. Campbell went on, “And then he counters off of it, and play passes off of it, and it works the middle of the field.” “So, you know, you got your hands full in both directions?”

When McCaffrey is fully recovered, the Lions will take on him. Although McCaffrey’s quadriceps being worked on by trainers during San Francisco’s divisional-round victory over the Green Bay Packers sparked some concerns, Shanahan stated this week that there are no issues regarding injuries.

According to Pro Football Talk, Shanahan stated, “No, I heard about that on the TV [broadcast] because some of my family members asked me about it.” But to me, that’s just what Christians do all the time. He is always focusing on his physical appearance. Nothing about his quad was disclosed to me.

Shanahan Kyle Ready for Any Kind of Defense

This week, Shanahan gave the Lions’ defense some props, stating that they perform better than their ranking would suggest.

They use their defense as a game. According to SI.com, Shanahan stated, “They make some plays.” “You can see their entire defense in figures, and in the pass game, I believe they rank 31st. However, after watching the tape, you begin to understand them better. They act in an aggressive manner. They are prone to big plays because they jumble everything.

The 49ers coach also mentioned how Detroit’s aggressive playmaking frequently results in turnovers and bad plays for their rivals.

“I believe they have committed the fewest turnovers in the last five games in the league. You’re going to hit or miss with this club because of how aggressive they are,” Shanahan remarked. But I doubt anyone in the NFL causes more bad plays than them. It was, I want to say, the fourth of the entire year. They seamlessly integrate with that.
