Safety Ceedy Duce of the Detroit Lions talked about the Tampa Bay Bucs wide receivers unit after practice last week.

According to Gardner-Johnson, “aside from that Tampa group, this group is probably one of the better groups we done faced all year,” as reported by the Detroit News. “Tampa is a great team if you give them a good quarterback.” That’s a fantastic group: Russell Gage, Chris Godwin, and Mike Evans. I engaged in serious play against them.”

Before facing Detroit on Sunday in the divisional round of the playoffs, Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield spoke with the media about Duce’s viewpoint.

“Given that he brought up Russell Gage, I doubt he has really seen a movie. Although we adore Russell, he hasn’t contributed a snap to our team this year. Mayfield remarked, “I’m excited to see him; he must be buzzing from all the preseason stuff the media is talking about, but he didn’t play our first game.” He’s been a valuable member of every team he’s played for for a while, therefore in my opinion, he’s a really excellent player. He’s a talented athlete, but he has to see a bit more movies.”

Here’s a rundown of all the Lions news from Wednesday.
