After arriving in Tuscaloosa last Saturday, head coach Kalen DeBoer of Alabama and his new staff have already made an immediate impression.
Coach DeBoer has been calling the coaches of top prospects and has made new offers in addition to assistant coaches hitting the recruiting road. In an effort to keep as much of the most talented roster in college football as possible, general manager Courtney Morgan—who came from Washington after DeBoer—has also played a crucial role in contacting the parents of current players.
Over the past week, a number of players have been added to the Alabama roster via the transfer portal, including All-American freshman Caleb Downs (S) and former five-star Kadyn Proctor (OL). There will be an opportunity for Coach DeBoer and his team to strategically replace some lost talent. Additionally, they will have a fantastic chance to re-enter the competition for a five-star receiver who was formerly committed to the Crimson Tide.
The following athletes will be in Tuscaloosa at some time this weekend, according to confirmation from Bama247. Junior Day has been rescheduled for the next weekend (Jan. 27) instead of taking place this Saturday.
