In the NFL Divisional Playoffs, head coach Todd Bowles and his Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
The fact that Ford Field is indoors for the game is good news for Tampa Bay. However, don’t mention it to a reporter present at Bowles’ press conference on Tuesday.
It was a valid question to ask him how the weather in the Motor City will affect getting ready for the game. Bowles’ response was simply amazing. Examine it.
Oh no… A reporter asked #Buccaneers head coach Todd Bowles about how the team is preparing to get acclimated to the weather in Detroit ahead of Sunday’s game.

On Sunday, the low will be 15 degrees. That is very cold. It won’t affect the Buccaneers until they get off the bus and enter the stadium, as Bowles pointed out.
The last time Detroit performed outside was at the previous Tiger Stadium, home of the MLB’s Detroit Tigers, back in 1974.
Even though Bowles’ response was amusing, the enjoyment was further enhanced by people on social media.

Let this serve as a lesson to all aspiring young journalists. Never show up unprepared for a news conference. It will turn you into a joke.
But we have to commend Todd Bowles for the way he handled it. a real expert.
