The NFL Playoffs Divisional Round is the next stop for the Detroit Lions. Over his previous team, the Los Angeles Rams, Jared Goff guided his squad to an exciting victory, 24–23. Lions fans expressed their support for Goff during the game. And in a touching turn of events, his teammates did the same after the game.
Following their historic victory on Sunday night, the Lions posted a video of the squad in the locker room. The Detroit players greeted their great quarterback as he entered the room, following the lead of their supporters.

Sunday night’s victory came thanks to a touchdown and 277 yards from QB Goff. With just five interceptions throughout the entire game, the former first-overall pick led his team to victory. He became the first signal-caller from Detroit to win a postseason game since Erik Kramer in 1992.

Absurd responses to Jared Goff and the Lions defeating the Rams
After the victory, not just the Lions players are losing their minds. Since the game in Detroit progressed to the final, a ton of responses have been received. Kyle Kuzma, a forward for the Washington Wizards and native of Michigan, was among the several Lions supporters who reacted to the victory on social media.

Even front office personnel wore their hearts on their sleeves. Brad Holmes, general manager, is becoming well-known for his exaggerated emotions after his response in an elevator was captured on camera on Sunday night.

After the game, renowned rookie tight end Sam LaPorta had some kind words to say to the supporters. LaPorta had a knee injury when he started the game, which many predicted would keep him out of the action. Still, the Iowa native made an appearance, collecting three passes for a touchdown.

Next week, the Lions will play another playoff game at home. But they haven’t decided who they play on Sunday. In the Divisional Round, Detroit will play the victor of the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday night.
