ARLINGTON, Texas – The Dallas Cowboys are undefeated at AT&T Stadium and will look to finish the regular season on a high note when they visit the Detroit Lions on “Saturday Night Football.” They will have Super Bowl-winning head coach Jimmy Johnson in the building and in the Ring of Honor at halftime. AT&T Stadium will be all about positive energy for the majority of the day, pending the final result, of course. Is there any way to turn it all around and make it a negative? Enter FSI’s Undisputed, which has Keyshawn Johnson arguing that Jimmy’s presence may really be detrimental to coach Mike McCarthy’s 10-5 Cowboys. “Do what now?” Jimmy used to say when he was stumped by a stupid question.

“They’re putting pressure on these young men that we don’t know if they can withstand,” Keyshawn remarked, imagining – what? – Dak Prescott and Micah Parsons and company being terrified by their own Cowboys predecessors?! “Looking out at their gold coats and jewelry… Jimmy Johnson…. ”Will they be able to live up to that?” Seriously, just when we thought we’d exhausted all possible angles for this game and event… Thank you for the psycho-babble, Keyshawn. This is quite inventive!

Keyshawn told Dallas great Michael Irvin on the set, “People like you and people like Emmitt (Smith) who are going to be there at halftime” might be too much for today’s Cowboys to stomach. The reality of the Cowboys”pressure” is that they are playing home to the 11-4 Lions, who are also under “pressure” to progress in playoff position.

Dallas is 7-0 at home this season and has won 15 straight games. Normally, that would be interpreted as putting “pressure” on the visiting team.

Keyshawn eventually makes sense when he talks about Dallas’ recent troubles against the run, and it is true that Detroit ranks third in running yards this season.
