Alabama football is still on the lookout for offensive linemen for the next season.
On National Signing Day, the Crimson Tide signed three offensive linemen. During the early signing period, they attempted to add another lineman to this group but were unsuccessful.
Nick Saban is bullish about this group, but he still wants to bolster Alabama’s offensive line.
“Those are guys that we think have a lot of ability,” he remarked. “We know quite a bit about them. They were at camp with us. We’re thrilled to have them here. We believe they have the potential to develop into good prospects and players. I still believe we’re out there in the market searching for some more of those kind of individuals, offensive lineman, both in terms of quantity and quality experience. We’re thrilled to have them, and we’re still seeking for somebody to fill that role.”
Alabama will most likely lose numerous offensive lineman at the end of the season, so depth at the position would be beneficial.
Three former Alabama wide receivers are currently having 1,000-yard seasons in the NFL.
Auburn University needs a quarterback to lure five-star wide receiver Ryan Williams away from the University of Alabama, but all Nick Saban needs to do is show him the Crimson Tide’s players in the National Football League.
Alabama has players who can make plays at every position in the league, including wide receiver.
JAYLEN WADDLE, WR FOR THE DOLPHINS, SETS A FRANCHISE RECORD IN THEIR WIN OVER THE COWBOYS.
This season, the Crimson Tide has three alumni with 1,000-plus receiving yards. Amari Cooper, DeVonta Smith, and Jaylen Waddle all have teams in the playoffs or on the verge of making the playoffs. Cooper, a former first-round pick in the 2015 NFL Draft, is excelling in his second season with the Cleveland Browns. He continues to quietly demonstrate that he is one of the best route runners in the game, ranking sixth in the league in yards (1,250) and touchdowns (5).
Cooper established multiple single-game records for the Browns against the Houston Texans on Sunday.
He caught 11 catches for 265 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Browns to a 36-22 road victory. Cooper had the most receiving yards of any Browns wide receiver on the road. He also set a new single-game record and had his fifth game with at least 100 yards receiving. Cooper had 1,000-yard receiving seasons in both of his seasons in Cleveland.
Coop broke so many records that we had to turn the graphic into a video to show them all 😅 pic.twitter.com/gjA3cI62Pt
